CONSIDERATION OF URGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF UPLAND CITY COUNCIL ADOPTING EMERGENCY REGULATIONS RELATED TO RESIDENTIAL AND/OR COMMERCIAL TENANT EVICTIONS Consider adopting an urgency ordinance to temporarily prohibit residential and/or commercial evictions due to financial hardships arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic, and depending on the Council’s direction adopt such ordinance on either of the following motions: 1. Read by title only and adopt Urgency Ordinance, "URGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF UPLAND CITY COUNCIL ADOPTING EMERGENCY REGULATIONS RELATED TO RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL TENANT EVICTIONS AND DECLARING THE URGENCY THEREOF"; or 2. Read by title only and adopt Urgency Ordinance, "URGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF UPLAND CITY COUNCIL ADOPTING EMERGENCY REGULATIONS RELATED TO RESIDENTIAL TENANT EVICTIONS AND DECLARING THE URGENCY THEREOF."
